15 shots fired; Pennsylvania man hit twice

MONTGOMERY, W.Va. — A Pennsylvania man suffered gunshot wounds in a drive-by shooting Friday afternoon near Montgomery.

The alleged shooter fired 15 shots according to state police at Maurice Cooper, 37, of Farrell, Pa. Cooper was standing outside his parents’ home on Morris Drive. He told police he didn’t know the shooter.

Cooper suffered two lower-body gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital.

A person of interest has been identified by troopers. No arrests have been made.
