One killed in Mason County ATV crash

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. — A Mason County man was killed in an Independence Day weekend all-terrain vehicle crash.

Scott Michael Duncan II, 21, of Apple Grove died after his ATV hit a tree on Oshel Road in Point Pleasant, according to information from the Mason County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies said the investigation continued on Monday.

State Police and officers with the state Division of Natural Resources were part of the initial response.
