Human remains discovered in Preston County

PRESTON COUNTY, W.Va. — West Virginia state police were investigating the discovery of human remains.

The remains were sent to the Charleston for review by a medical examiner, said Sgt. C. W. DeBerry.

The discovery was reported late Monday along Decker’s Creek in the western end of Preston County between Masontown and Sabraton.
