Remains are those of missing man in Raleigh County

BECKLEY, W.Va. — An autopsy revealed a set of remains discovered in Beckley earlier this year are those of a man missing for more than a year.

Travis Summers hadn’t been seen since May 7, 2014 when he was at a skate park along Beckley’s Eisenhower Drive according to Beckley Police detectives. The remains were found February 13 in the Eccles community.

Evidence found at the scene leads investigators to suspect foul play in his death. Several persons of interest are being examined in connection with the case according to police, but so far nobody has been charged.
