Woman pleads guilty to manslaughter in murder of Clarksburg man

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Lumberport woman pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Thursday in the killing of a Clarksburg man last March.

As part of the plea deal, 20-year-old Tracy Boals will cooperate against her husband, Andrew Miller, who is charged with murder in the death of 57-year-old Darrell Golden. Miller, who has pleaded innocent, is scheduled for trial in August.

He has been offered a chance to plead guilty to first-degree murder with a recommendation of mercy.

Golden allegedly was hit in the head and then drowned in a pond. Both Boals and Miller are currently in jail.
