Thief takes trailer with classic car inside

KINGWOOD, W.Va. — A classic is missing from Preston County.

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the person who stole a car hauler with a 1967 soft top Corvette inside.

A car hauler (24 X 8 ½), with aluminum wheels and WV license plate number C142874, was taken from Rohr Road in Masontown between July 10 and July 16.

The Corvette is black with a red stripe on the hood.

Anyone with information regarding this trailer and car theft is asked to call the Preston County Sheriff’s Office at 304-329-1611 and speak with Deputy R.A. Stockett.
