1 dies after I-68 wreck

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. — One person has died from injuries sustained in a wreck involving two vehicles Thursday night on Interstate 68 in Monongalia County.

State Police said Conrad Hoke, 70, of Morgantown, died Friday afternoon at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

According to troopers, Hoke was driving a Toyota Tacoma, heading east on I-68 around 7:45 p.m., when his vehicle crossed into another lane and into a Chevrolet truck.

Both vehicles then went across the median and over a guardrail near the Sabraton exit of I-68.

The other driver was also hurt, emergency officials said.
