MCMECHEN, W.Va. — A Wintersville, Ohio man wanted for an attempted child abduction in Marshall County was awaiting extradition in Ohio on Saturday morning.
Eartist Flener, 66, was arrested there and charged with trying to kidnap a child in McMechen.
McMechen Police said it happened before 11:30 a.m. Monday on Lincoln Street. Few other details have been released about the attempted abduction.
A vehicle description lead investigators to Flener who is listed on Ohio’s sex offender registry. He was previously convicted of sexual imposition on a victim under age 13, according to reports.
