Police investigate fatal Mingo County four-wheeler crash

MEADOR, W.Va. — A man was killed Monday night in Mingo County after he wrecked his four-wheeler.

William Ray Hatfield, 26, was heading north on Route 6 near Meador and Matewan when he veered off the road and into a creek. Hatfield was not wearing a helmet, police said.

The cause of the accident was unknown.
