As of Monday night there was still no word regarding a potential landing spot for fourth-year linebacker Najee Goode, the final player cut Saturday in Philadelphia, according to coach Chip Kelly.
It’s just difficult,” Kelly said. “All linebackers, we have 10 on the roster. It’s a difficult position. We probably have our most depth at that position. It was hard. Najee gave us everything he had and worked extremely hard. He was really productive. We just couldn’t fit in an 11th guy.”
Six Marshall players made NFL rosters as well:
Baltimore Ravens: Albert McClellan, linebacker.
Miami Dolphins: Neville Hewitt, linebacker.
New England Patriots: Aaron Dobson, receiver; Darryl Roberts, defensive back.
Oakland Raiders: Lee Smith, tight end.
Philadelphia Eagles: Vinny Curry, defensive end.
