Taylor County man arrested for attempted sexual assault of a minor

TAYLOR COUNTY, W.Va. — A Flemmington resident in being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail after allegedly exposing his genitals to an underage girl at a church last month.

Christopher William Freeze, 19, was booked yesterday after police said in August he found an 8-year-old girl by herself in an upstairs room at a church, exposed himself to her and began touching his genitalia.

He reportedly told deputies with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department that he intended to have intercourse with the girl and admitted to frequently having sexual fantasies about young girls.

Freeze is charged with attempted sexual assault, according to the state Regional Jail Authority, and his bond is set at $250,000.
