Harrison County woman convicted of heroin trafficking

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Harrison County woman has pleaded guilty to federal drug crimes committed earlier this year.

Jeny Fury, 31, of Clarksburg, was convicted of heroin trafficking in federal court after she sold heroin in Harrison County back in February.

She pleaded guilty to one count of Distribution of Heroin and faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000.

The Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah Montoro prosecuted the case on behalf of the government, while U.S. Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull presided.
