5 indicted on murder charges by Raleigh County Grand Jury

BECKLEY, W.Va. — The September term of the Grand Jury concluded with more than 100 indictments, including five individuals for first degree murder or attempted first degree murder.

Jason Willis Wilson, 28, and Austin Ray Redden, 23, face first degree murder charges and a felony conspiracy charge apiece in the death of Tommy Joe Lambert of Besoco. Wilson and Redden were allegedly driving a pick-up truck that intentionally swerved, hit, and killed Lambert in May.

David Carl Cox, 37, faces charges of first degree murder and first degree arson. He stands accused of intentionally starting a fire at a mobile home in August 2014 that claimed the life of David Davis, 56.

Andrew Rizzi, 22, faces a first degree murder charge in the shooting death of Michael Pugh. The shooting allegedly started as a fight between the two men in Prosperity, West Virginia.

Samuel Ricco Medley, 28, faces a litany of charges–attempted first degree murder, first degree robbery, malicious wounding, assault during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited carrier, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
