FAIRMONT, W.Va. — An Ohio murder suspect has been arrested in West Virginia where police knew he had connections.
US Marshals from Ohio and West Virginia tracked Deandre J. Baskerville, 29 of Akron, to Marion County this week.
Baskerville was wanted in Akron on an aggravated murder charge. He’s accused of stabbing a man in a mall parking lot after an an argument in August. Terrance Rogers, 35, died from attack.
Baskerville was arrested at a bus stop in Fairmont after he was identified as a passenger on a bus coming from Morgantown.
Baskerville will be charged as a fugitive from justice by the Fairmont Police Department. He will appear before a Marion County Magistrate before being extradited to Ohio.
