WHEELING, W.Va. — Wheeling Park senior running back Savion Johnson joined Wednesday’s MetroNews High School Sportsline as the Patriots have an important road contest at Morgantown in week seven.
“I would definitely consider this game a rivalry,” Johnson said. “They’re tough and they aren’t going to just let you move them around. They gain tackle you and their offense runs the ball well. We’ll have to be ready for everything.
“It would mean everything (for a title run),” he continued. “It’s what you work forever for. We have the (players) to do it. We just have to stay focused and keep getting better.”
