Police investigate bank robbery in Kanawha County

ELKVIEW, W.Va. — A man robbed a bank in Kanawha County Tuesday morning, police said.

He walked into the Poca Valley Bank in Elkview at just after 9 a.m. and demanded money. He jumped onto a desk during the heist, according to a surveillance photo released by Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies.

The man caught on the photo was white, wearing black pants and a camouflage Under Armour shirt. He had a dark hood over his head and face.
