Man arrested in pair of Parkersburg convenience store robberies

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — A man was arrested Tuesday suspected of robbing two separate convenience stores in Parkersburg.

Jason Richard Mylar, 19, allegedly robbed a pair of gas stations over the weekend, demanding cash from the clerk in both instances.

Mylar was questioned by police on Monday and allegedly confessed to both crimes. He was charged with one count of second-degree robbery.

He remains in custody at the North Central regional jail after failing to post $100,000 bond.
