GameNight: Moorefield coach Josh See after overtime win

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — Class A No. 3 Moorefield (8-1) used overtime to take down No. 6 Pendleton County (7-3) 28-21. Wil Schoonover scored a 15 yard touchdown run in the overtime session. Shane Myers ended the game with an interception on Pendleton County’s ensuing possession.

“They are an extremely gritty football team and a lot more physical than I thought they would be,” said Moorefield coach Josh See. “It was just two great football teams out there going at it.”

Schoonover finished with 298 yards rushing and four touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets, while Myers totaled three interceptions defensively.

“Schoonover made an awesome run on the overtime touchdown,” See said. “For Shane (Myers) to make that stop in overtime for us to seal the win for us, it was just awesome to see those two seniors on homecoming night to do that.”
