Monongalia Co. armed robbery suspect arrested in New Orleans

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Both suspects in a Monongalia County armed robbery investigation that led to a police involved shooting are now in custody. U.S. Marshals found Isaac William Barker, 31, in

Isaac Barker is also accused in an armed robbery in Monongalia County.
Isaac Barker was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Lousiana.

New Orleans, Louisiana Monday.

Barker was found at a bed and breakfast about 4:00 p.m. U.S. Marshals reportedly had to subdue him as he resisted arrested.

Barker and Justin Knisell are suspects in an armed robbery at West Run Apartments November 5.

When Monongalia County deputies were executing a search warrant at a home in Morgantown in that investigation, David Romanaski was shot and killed. Investigators say he was armed with a shotgun and a handgun.

Barker and Knisell are accused of hitting the victims of the robbery with a handgun before it fired a shot.

Victims were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Knisell turned himself into investigators November 6.

He and Barker are facing armed robbery, malicious assault and conspiracy charges.
