FAIRVIEW, W.Va. — A home is considered a total loss after a Saturday fire near the Monongalia County/Marion County line.

It reportedly sparked at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday on Daybrook Road near Fairview, according to authorities.

The family home at the time was able to escape, but one individual was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Crews had to return to the scene later Saturday evening after the fire rekindled.
