Home destroyed after Sunday fire in Harrison County

MARSHVILLE, W.Va. — A home is destroyed after a Sunday evening fire in Harrison County.

Dispatchers received a call at approximately 6:30 p.m. from near the scene along Grass Run Road in Marshville.

When crews arrived to the home, it was completely engulfed in flames.

After dispatching the blaze, the structure was evaluated to be a total loss.

The residents were out of town at the time the fire sparked and no injuries are being reported.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
