Manchin: Temporary VA health clinic to open in Greenbrier County

LEWISBURG, W.Va. — U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin announced Tuesday that a temporary VA health clinic will open in Greenbrier County by the end of this month.

The clinic will be located at the Rhema Christian Center in Lewisburg and will serve thousands of southern West Virginia Veterans until a permanent replacement clinic is put in place.

“In September, Secretary McDonald and I traveled to southern West Virginia to meet with more than 200 concerned Veterans about the future of the Greenbrier health clinic,”Manchin said in part of a statement. “Today, I am so pleased to finally announce that our Veterans will once again have access to the medical care and services they need at this mobile clinic while we finalize the plans for a permanent clinic.”
