Trio of gas stations robbed in Huntington on Tuesday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Three Huntington gas stations were held up Tuesday, only one of which the suspect made off with cash.

The first was reported Tuesday morning at the Speedway at 28th Street and 5th Avenue in which the suspect did not get away with anything.

The second robbery was reported just after noon at the Marathon on Bridge Street in Guyandotte. Police say the suspect was armed with a gun, but did not get away with anything.

A third robbery in which the suspect got away with cash occurred at the Rich Oil Station on Bridge Street in Guyandotte. Police say the suspect brandished a pistol, and was wearing a white or gray mask.
