CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — A man was killed in a traffic accident in Jefferson County Friday night, Sheriff Pete Dougherty said.
The deadly crash took place on state Route 9 near the intersection with Cattail Run Road.
The victim, a local man in the 60’s, according to the sheriff, was taken to a hospital by emergency helicopter but did not survive the crash.
