CHARLESTON, W.Va. — MetroNews Ram Hotline host Dave Weekley has signed a new agreement that will keep him on-the-air statewide in West Virginia through at least January 2021.
In making the announcement, MetroNews President Dale Miller said, “Dave Weekley and producer Dale Cooper have developed exactly the type of afternoon drive program we were seeking. It is a great get for the network to secure Ram Hotline and Dave Weekley for another five years.”
The MetroNews Ram Hotline is a daily three-hour talk show that is heard on 10-radio stations throughout West Virginia. The program debuted three years ago and runs each weekday afternoon from 3 to 6.
After signing the extension, Weekley said, “It was an easy decision to extend the agreement with MetroNews since the network is as committed to the show as Coop (Dale Cooper) and I are.”
Weekley is a native of Harrison County, a WVU graduate and is a frequent host for ESPN 3 events. He is also the video host for the annual Pop Warner Football Championships each fall from Walt Disney’s World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.
Dave and Linda Weekley reside in South Charleston.
