Police release description of suspect wanted in Marion County armed robbery

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Having released a photo from the security footage, police in Marion County are seeking the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection to an alleged armed robbery.

The individual who held up the Rich Oil Gas Station on Pennsylvania Avenue in Fairmont Sunday night was reportedly recognized as a regular customer.

He is said to be a slender, white male standing around 5’8 with dark brown facial hair. At the time, he was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans with white stitching and black tennis shoes with white soles.

Police advise that he fled the scene at around 10 p.m. on foot.
