POCA, W.Va. — A Putnam County man was in critical condition Monday at Charleston Area Medical Center after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening near Poca.

Forrest Yonkosky, 47, of Rock Branch, was in the middle of state Route 62 at just before 6 p.m. when he was struck by an oncoming motorist, Putnam County sheriff’s deputies said.
