Harrison SCAD unit arrests seven as part of undercover drug investigation

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department arrested seven individuals in one day on drug related felony charges and are seeking six others.

Made by the county’s Street Crimes and Drug Unit, with assistance from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, the arrest were the result of a six-month undercover narcotics investigation.

Among those apprehended Thursday include:

Joseph Patrick Bross, III, 37, of Weston, who is charged with delivery of methamphetamine.

Alex Blackburn, 22, of Stonewood, who is charged with two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of conspiracy to deliver heroin.

Joshua Grey, 29, of Clarksburg/North View, who is charged with two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of conspiracy to deliver heroin.

Jeni Fury, 31, formerly of Clarksburg and currently from Taylor County, who is charged with one count of delivery of heroin and two counts of conspiracy to delivery heroin.

Randy Jones, age 30, formerly of North View, Currently in jail in Pennsylvania, is charged with three counts of delivery of heroin and two counts of conspiracy to deliver heroin.

April Ash, 36, of Salem, who is charged with two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of conspiracy to deliver heroin.

Kim Cook, 33, of Clarksburg, who is charged with delivery of crack cocaine and conspiracy to deliver crack cocaine.

“Most of the arrests made today were related to heroin distribution and are the results of Sheriff’s Department’s Street Crimes and Drug Unit’s battle against the heroin epidemic facing our Community,” said Chief Deputy Jeff McAtee.

In addition to those already in custody, SCAD were seeking the following individuals Thursday evening who have felony warrants on file for their arrest:

Amanda “Mandy” Smith, 37, of West Union, who is wanted for heroin and methamphetamine related charges.

Dmitri McQuain, 31, of Morgantown, Ryan Viglianco , 25, of Clarksburg, and Hollie Hostine, 32, of Clarksburg, who are wanted on heroin related charges

Two other individuals, who are not being named, wanted on crack cocaine charges.
