Summers County bus driver arrested on alleged sex crime with 17-year-old student

HINTON, W.Va. — State Police arrested a Summers County school bus driver Monday for a possible sex crime with a student.

An investigation revealed that Matthew Hinton, 25, had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student from Summers County High School.

The case will be presented to a grand jury for possible indictment. Hinton had previously resigned from the Summers County Board of Education.
