Police release name of Milton man killed in I-64 wreck

MILTON, W.Va. — The name of a Cabell County man who died Sunday night in a crash along Interstate 64 has been released by police.I64 crash

Ralph Cutlip, 58, of Milton, was driving in the westbound lanes when he lost control of the van he was driving, flipped over the median and ended up in the eastbound lanes near the Milton exit.

It happened at around 9:30 p.m. when Cutlip’s van was t-boned by an oncoming pickup truck, leaving the van engulfed in flames. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people in the truck were taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed for five hours following the wreck.
