WESTON, W.Va. — Officers in Lewis County have arrested an individual allegedly attempting to sell many different types of drugs.
Ruha Krinov, 38, is now facing numerous drug charges after a search warrant was executed Tuesday at a Weston residence.
The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and Weston Police Department executed the search on Jackson Street and located a myriad of illicit drugs, specifically, methamphetamine, prescription drugs, five marijuana plants and dried marijuana, as well as psilocybin mushrooms.
“The information regarding the individual arrested came from concerned citizens,” Sheriff Adam Gissy said. “It proved to be corroborated as result of the search. Without the intel provided by the concerned parties, this arrest would not have come to fruition.”
In addition to the illegal drugs; scales, baggies, and packaging material were discovered in the residence.
“The arrest was a joint investigation between the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and the Weston Police Department,” Gissy said. “Both law enforcement entities were actively involved from the infancy of the investigation through the final processing of evidence found within the residence.”
Krinov is being held at the Central Regional Jail, with bail set at $100,000.
