Gallery: Charleston Catholic beats Wahama for season split

MASON, W.Va. — Class A No. 10 Charleston Catholic defeated top ranked Wahama 4-1 on Saturday afternoon, forcing a regular season split between the two Region 4 state tournament contenders.

Dominic Marsico picked up the complete game win for Charleston Catholic and Wahama’s Philip Hoffman suffered the loss.

The Irish improved to 15-12 on the year, while Wahama dropped to 15-8. The White Falcons will enter postseason sectional play next week against Hannan and Calhoun County as Charleston Catholic will face Buffalo and Huntington St. Joe in sectional action.
