Florida medical examiner releases cause of death of Princeton mother

MIAMI, FL — Fat clots clogged the arteries of a Princeton woman causing her death last week in a Florida clinic.

Heather Meadows, 29, was undergoing cosmetic surgery last Thursday when the fat clots got into her bloodstream causing her organs to fail, according to the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office.

The operation took place at a clinic Hialeah, Fla., where Meadows was undergoing what’s called a Brazilian butt-lift.

WVVA-TV in Bluefield reports Meadows left behind a six-year-old son and a six-month-old daughter.
