9/11 artifact ceremony to take place Tuesday at Yeager Airport

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A ceremony at Yeager Airport Tuesday including the TSA and the WV National Guard will dedicate an artifact from the Pentagon tragedy on September 11.

The artifact is a piece of limestone from the area of the Pentagon that was destroyed in the terrorist attack.

Shuttle buses will provide round trip transportation from the front of Yeager Airport terminal to the WV Air National Guard Hangar where the ceremony will take place.

U.S. Sen Shelley Moore Capito, House Speaker Tim Armstead, Sen. President Cole and members of the House of Delegates and State Senate from Kanawha County have been invited to attend.
