A West Virginia Children’s Home supervisor faces sexual abuse charges

ELKINS, W.Va. — A supervisor at the West Virginia Children’s Home in Elkins faces charges of sexual abuse by a guardian.

Ronald Bosserman, 55, of Mabie, allegedly had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 15 year old former female resident at the home.

The alleged relationship occurred between August 2014 and December 2015.

According to the criminal complaint, Bosserman admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with the girl on at least two occasions while acting in an official capacity as Resident Supervisor of the West Virginia Children’s Home.

Both alleged incidents happened on the property of the West Virginia Children’s Home.

Bosserman faces two charges of sexual abuse by a guardian.

A call to the West Virginia Children’s Home for comment has not yet been returned.
