Delaware State fills final spot in WVU’s 2017 football schedule

Delaware State has agreed to play in Morgantown on Sept. 16, 2017, the final nonconference opening in West Virginia’s schedule.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia finalized its 2017 nonconference football schedule by adding a home game against FCS member Delaware State for Sept. 16.

Athletics director Shane Lyons announced the Week 3 matchup, which follows a neutral-site opener against Virginia Tech in Landover, Md., and a home date against East Carolina.
