MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The man charged with three counts of murder in connection with last week’s fatal shooting in Morgan County will have his preliminary hearing late next month.
Erick Shute, 32, waived his right to the hearing within 10 days of his arrest Wednesday.
Shute is accused of shooting Jack Douglas of Great Cacapon and Travis Bartley and Willie Bartley, both of Hedgesville, on June 13.
His preliminary trial date was set for July 25.
