Thief makes off with tree company utility vehicle

KINGWOOD, W.Va. — As tree removal companies are being dispatched across the state for storm damage clean up, one crew has been targeted by thieves.

Preston County authorities are looking for the person who stole an Asplundh Expert Tree Company utility vehicle.

Video surveillance from the Wal-Mart parking just outside Kingwood showed a man taking a green 2015 Polaris Ranger side by side from an Asplundh trailer early Wednesday morning.

Investigators are asking anyone who saw a white extended cab, dually pickup truck leaving the store parking lot traveling west to call police.

Tips will be kept confidential according to the Preston County Sheriff’s Department.
