Cabell County man charged with murder

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. — A Cabell County man was being held at the Western Regional Jail Tuesday on charges of first-degree murder and wanton endangerment.

Bobby E. Thompson, 28, Lesage

Bobby E. Thompson, 28, of Lesage, allegedly shot a man in a vehicle along Rt. 2 near Lesage around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

That man later died.

State Police were handling the investigation.

There were early indications the shooting may have been related to a domestic situation.
