CHARLESTON, W.Va. — USA Today High School Sports announced its All-USA West Virginia Baseball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Tom Cullen, Wahama
Cullen’s White Falcons endured some bumps along the way, but emerged with their second consecutive Class A state championship. Wahama (22-11) lost four straight games (and six of eight) late in the season, but put things back together again, playing errorless ball in the semifinals and finals and defeating Wheeling Central in the finale, 5-4.

The smooth-fielding shortstop became the school’s all-time hit leader as he propelled the Cougars (36-3) to their 12th Class AAA crown. The VCU commit and Gatorade Player of the Year batted an even .500 with 57 runs scored and 33 RBI.
