CLENDENIN, W.Va. — There’s been a lot of cleanup on U.S. Route 119 (Spencer Road) between Interstate 79 and Clendenin since last week’s devastating flood but this video, shot Thursday, shows there’s still more work to do.
The same road was blocked by high water for several hours during the flooding event as first responders staged water rescues at a site just off the interstate.
The debris drop off site just off Exit 19 will be opened at least through the weekend.
