Sportsline: Morgantown’s Lacy looks to head coaching tenure

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Recently named Morgantown head football coach Matt Lacy joined the MetroNews Statewide Sportsline to look ahead at his tenure.

“It feels pretty good, it’s been quite a ride,” Lacy said. “It’s an experience I’ve been looking forward to. I want to get into a little bit more of the spread offense. I feel, as a head coach, that you have to run the football to win football games and you have to stop the run, defensively. We’ll never abandon the run, but I would like us to get more to a 50-50 run-pass balance if we can.”

The complete interview with Lacy is posted above.
