Million dollar lotto ticket sold in Fairmont

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A million dollar lottery winner made the purchase at a Marion County convenience store.

The winning numbers for the July 6, 2016, Powerball were 2-24-31-57-66 and the Powerball was 18.

Nobody matched all numbers and the Powerball. But, a ticket sold at the East Park Mart in Fairmont matched five numbers.

That ticket was one of three to be sold. The other two were sold in California.

Less than two weeks ago, Elkview, W.VA. residents Sam and Barb Ratliff won $1 million in the June 25 Powerball drawing.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $288 million.

Friday is the drawing for a $508 million Mega Millions jackpot.
