Spring Valley lineman Locklear commits to Tennessee

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Spring Valley senior offensive lineman Riley Locklear on Saturday announced his commitment to Tennessee, ending a recruiting process that drew a slew of Power Five offers from around the country.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound standout is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and Scout.com. He made Saturday’s announcement via Twitter.

Locklear’s offer list included the likes of Cal, Florida State, Louisville, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Ole Miss, North Carolina, N.C. State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
