KINGWOOD, W.Va. — Preston County investigators are trying to track down two men accused in a counterfeiting scheme.

Sergeant G. A. Sinclair has released Daniel Allen Ervin’s name as a suspect in his investigation.

Ervin is currently wanted for questioning.

A second person, yet to be identified, is also wanted for questioning in the counterfeit currency investigation.

The Preston County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man they pulled surveillance photos of from the Buckwheat Express.

The man was last seen riding a bus from the Kingwood Plaza last Friday, July 8. He may have also been on the bus from a thrift store in Reedsville back to Kingwood Plaza.

Anyone with information about the two men is asked to call the Preston County Sheriff’s Office at 304-329-1611.
