Sportsline: Dolan addresses the approval of coaching flex days

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission executive director Bernie Dolan joined the MetroNews Statewide Sportsline, discussing the recently approved proposal that will give high school coaches in the state more flexibility with out of season coaching.

“This will give the people what they wanted,” Dolan said. “But there will always be people who want to do more and people who want to do less. This gives them a little bit of both, without consuming the student athletes’ time forever.”

Dolan’s complete interview is posted at the top of the page.
