‘Suspicious’ death under investigation in Cabell County

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Cabell County man was found dead in a home Wednesday and state police are calling the death suspicious.

Bill Rayburn, believed to be in his 40’s, hadn’t been seen by friends for a few days. He was found in a residence on East Campbell Park Drive. The initial call to police said he had been stabbed.

Rayburn’s body was sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office.
