POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — Point Pleasant senior offensive tackle Seth Stewart announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday.
Stewart, who originally pledged to Marshall last summer, stands 6-foot-8, 326 pounds. He announced Saturday’s commitment via Twitter.
“Run-blocking is his strength, he just gets his hands on you and does a great job,” said Point Pleasant coach David Darst prior to Stewart’s junior season. “He’s made a big improvement in his pass protection and that’s something that young kids have to work on all of the time. The sky is the limit for him, really.”
Some of Stewart’s other offers included Arkansas, Louisville, Pitt and West Virginia.
He’s the third in-state senior this month to announce a commitment to a Power Five program after Spring Valley’s Riley Locklear committed to Tennessee and Capital’s Dorian Etheridge committed to Louisville.
