U.S. GSA accepts high bid in auction for Sugar Grove Station

SUGAR GROVE, W.Va. — The U.S. General Services Administration has announced that the online auction for the Sugar Grove Station concluded Monday with a high bid of $11.2 million.

The GSA accepted the bid and awarded the contract, expecting a closure on the sale of the property within 60 days.

Additional information about the high bidder and the reuse plans for the 123-acre former Naval base in Pendleton County will be available at a later date.
