Kroger seeking to hire 100 workers at 39 West Virginia stores

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Those looking for a job in West Virginia may be able to find one with Kroger before the summer ends.

According to a news release, the grocery store chain is holding open interviews for jobs in all its stores in West Virginia next Tuesday.

Anyone interested in a position can apply on the Kroger website or by going to a store anytime between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on August 9 for an interview.

Approximately 100 jobs are open in the the 39 stores in West Virginia. No appointments are necessary.

Stores hiring are located in the Charleston area, Huntington area, Parkersburg area, Morgantown, Clarksburg, Beckley, Hinton, Logan, Smithers, Barboursville, Danville, Ripley, Buckhannon, Rainelle, Gassaway and Ronceverte.

According to a release, Kroger has launched “mobile apply,” which allows job-seekers to submit applications through their smartphones and tablets.
